Tell Me Tuesday: The Gmail Hack Edition

by Amy D on September 7, 2010

Well, I lay victim to my Gmail getting hacked this Saturday.  Talk about suck!  But I will say this to all the Blackberry haters out there:  the BB caught it exceptionally quick.  I mean, it didn’t come up with a message that my account was hacked.  It simply emailed me a message stating my password was wrong.  Well, uh, gee, I didn’t change it!  Of course, I was a little lax getting to it, so 3 hours later, a password change and update, I (not even lying) had over 300 emails come through on the BB.  Most of them were mail deliveries that were kicked back because *most* of my addresses have email that is smart and kicked it back.  Needless to say, the ole’ thumb got a workout deleting all those messages!

Another busy week and I haven’t even picked up my camera!  So I poured through the picture files on the computer and had a difficult time picking two out.  But, I did it.

Tell Me Tuesday

by Amy D on August 31, 2010

Well, this week is suddenly lame since we are not expecting puppies.  My attention now shifts to the Things.  I realized today that Brenna is starting school a week from Thursday and she will be 6 in September.  My gosh, where did time go?  I hadn’t even scheduled her yearly doctor’s appointment!  Gotta get on the ball, here, mom!  So two appointments scheduled for the Things and there is one today with the dentist for Thing One.  That should be as fun as walking out of  Walmart with a child screaming “I hate you mom!” in the afternoon sunshine…..yes, that recently happened to me and I have nightmares about it, but life goes on.  Hopefully somebody had a great show!  I wonder how many dinner tables we were talked about at!  But, I still need to get her hair cut and some sneakers.  It will all get done, somehow, someway….

No puppies for Polly :(

08.29.2010

On Friday, Matt brought Polly in for her appointment.  We kind of knew going in there that there weren’t many, if any at all.  Our fears were realized when the doctor said she either reabsorbed them or was having a good false pregnancy.  We wouldn’t know without having an ultrasound done, but we declined that.
So [...]

Thursday’s Things: Splashing in those puddles!

08.26.2010

This summer has been kind of on the dry side until this past Sunday.  Mother Nature decided to dump a summer’s worth of water on us in one fell swoop.  It didn’t stop raining until Tuesday morning.  The kennels are under water in some spots and the dogs are atrocious right now!  The girls had [...]

Polly, the pregnant bitch….we hope?

08.24.2010

So, I finally got around to capturing  a picture of Polly today.  Not on a weekly target like I had hoped, being the 8th of August was the last and only photo of her to compare this to.  I still say she is bred.  I don’t think we are looking at 7 or more, maybe [...]

Tell Me Tuesday

08.24.2010

With all the stress around here, there wasn’t much surfing going on last week.  I’m not sure how much will be going on after this week with puppies anticipated early next week!   I still think she’s bred, but my guess is that there’s only 3 or 4 in the oven.  I may be wrong, [...]

I’m sorry, I lost my mind there for a week

08.23.2010

Wow!  Last week was a doozy, let me tell you.  I apologize for not posting, but I was stressed out to my threshold.  If there’s anything that stresses me out, it has to be car shopping, hands down.  And this was even more complicated because it was not a planned shopping trip!  This is the [...]
