Tell Me Tuesday: The Gmail Hack Edition

by Amy D on September 7, 2010

Well, I lay victim to my Gmail getting hacked this Saturday.  Talk about suck!  But I will say this to all the Blackberry haters out there:  the BB caught it exceptionally quick.  I mean, it didn’t come up with a message that my account was hacked.  It simply emailed me a message stating my password was wrong.  Well, uh, gee, I didn’t change it!  Of course, I was a little lax getting to it, so 3 hours later, a password change and update, I (not even lying) had over 300 emails come through on the BB.  Most of them were mail deliveries that were kicked back because *most* of my addresses have email that is smart and kicked it back.  Needless to say, the ole’ thumb got a workout deleting all those messages!
