Tell Me Tuesday

by Amy D on August 31, 2010

Well, this week is suddenly lame since we are not expecting puppies.  My attention now shifts to the Things.  I realized today that Brenna is starting school a week from Thursday and she will be 6 in September.  My gosh, where did time go?  I hadn’t even scheduled her yearly doctor’s appointment!  Gotta get on the ball, here, mom!  So two appointments scheduled for the Things and there is one today with the dentist for Thing One.  That should be as fun as walking out of  Walmart with a child screaming “I hate you mom!” in the afternoon sunshine…..yes, that recently happened to me and I have nightmares about it, but life goes on.  Hopefully somebody had a great show!  I wonder how many dinner tables we were talked about at!  But, I still need to get her hair cut and some sneakers.  It will all get done, somehow, someway….

This is one of my “new” favorite blogs!  The recipes are fantastic!  The absolute greastest part?  It’s free, it gives you the shopping list and the recipes and it’s FREE!  There are a ton of websites that make you pay for meal planning, but not this one!  Go check it out!

Staples: Hammermill Paper Money Maker (Deal Seeking Mom)

I go through lots of paper here, so getting cheap or free paper is kind of a priority when it costs $4-$8 a ream.  But when I can actually MAKE MONEY on buying paper, well, sign me up now!  Hopefully y’all got that coupon in Sunday’s paper like me!

Announcing Groupon Girl! (Mrs. Moneysaver)

If you haven’t heard about Groupon, listen up!  It’s one of the fastest growing ways to get half off or more on stuff you buy everyday.  Go to the website, browse the cities and sign up.  If you see something that you like, you can sign up for the offer and if enough people sign up, you will get a great price!
