Greta taking Best Bred-By and Reserve Winner's Bitch at the Middle Atlantic Saint Bernard Club's Specialty Show March 2010
Well, there’s our Greta and her show picture. She is a *tad* better than her mother at taking them. I don’t think she is freaking out with the squeaky toys that the photogs have like Polly use to. She is shown by Matt, that’s the hubby, and that’s Donna Lee, co-breeder of Greta, holding the birdhouse. No, that is not me. I am 34, not old enough to have kids in their 50’s! I was not at that show, and even if I was, I don’t do pictures. I am usually the one behind the camera and I prefer it that way. There is only ONE show picture with me in it, and it’s hanging on my wall and it’s not even my dog that I am showing in it. It’s Polly’s brother, Kozmo. He’s Donna’s dog and she was really hard-up for a handler to show Kozmo under Judge Eddie Lyons in 2007. I volunteered, pregnant and all, to go in the ring. Got a point on him and took one of the worse pictures in the world! I’ll have to scan that in one day for y’all. It’ll make you laugh!
