I have been thinking hard about switching over to Typepad or Wordpress. I heard they are great blogging platforms and you can do so much more with them. But I have some questions that I really haven’t found the answers to online….
Can I move all my posts over? Or do I have to start over from scratch? If you can’t, does one just keep this blog and use backlinks?
My one faithful reader, Saint Lover, has mentioned that I can incorporate my blog into my other domain, the one for the kennel. How the heck do I do this? It would be freakin‘ awesome if all I had to worry about is one website.
So, should I just go to Amazon and buy a book? Any recommendations about Wordpress vs. Typepad? I want the good, the bad and the plain ugly! Or should I just buy a book?

Sorry I havent been around for a few days… been busy with my son’s wrestling. Yes if you install Wordpress on your existing brogan saints site you can incorporate all your posts and comments. If you need help, just let me know and I can walk you though it or just do it for you – Im a whiz at this point. You will like the control and plug ins you can use and it will be nice to have everything central. including galleries. Wordpress is nice to use as a static site too. Shoot me an email if you want/need some help/suggestions. It is TOTALLY worth the switch!

I did dial up until last year and OMG I would shoot myself if I had to go back again. I have been sooo spoiled with my dsl. My heart goes out to you.
