Yeah, well, that would be ME! A couple of weeks ago it would have been, “Who’s that crazy lady buying the case of evaporated milk?”
“Wow, making a lot of pumpkin pies this year with that milk, huh?” I just smile and nod my head. Little did they know that the case of milk only lasted 3 and one half days in my house, and not one pumpkin pie came of it.
I have almost quit trying to explain to people that we have puppies in the house. It always turns into, “What kind of puppies?”
“Saint Bernards.” And then the onslaught of questions ensue:
“Oh, my God, they are big dogs!” (No shit.)
“You must have a big house.” (Do you really think they ALL sleep in bed with me? Only Luci does.)
“Do you have a lot of land?” (Yes, but why does it matter? Saints are lazy. Land comes in handy for not scooping poop.)
“Do they drool?” (No comment, I’ve stopped explaining this. YES!)
“Wow, dog food must cost you a fortune!” (Yes, and my mortgage payments still manage to be on time!)
And the questions go on and on. I know I’m coming off sarcastic here, but sometimes I feel like I’m being repetitive. And as a breeder, I should be educating and not complaining about any of this, so I will stop. Ok, off my soapbox.
I have never plugged any product here on this blog, but I feel as if I must. I have not received any money from the makers of this product, except for the coupons I used to purchase them. The Glade scented candles ROCK! They are the nicest smelling candles I have come across in a long time. Although one of their scents gives me headaches, but I can forgive that. I have mostly been using the apple spice and custard scents. They smell so delicious, so much so that I have been craving sweets for the past few days! This is why mommy made rice krispy treats today and ate a lot of them. And then I was contemplating baking some brownies on top of that. And the best part about the candles? They cover up the puppy poo smell! And they’re cheap! So if you see me in Wally’s World or the Big K, I will most likely have 10 or 12 of these in my cart……….and PLEASE don’t ask me why! Or I’ll hit you!
